High Temperatures And Yield

High temperatures can affect the poorer growth of your plants and cause you unnecessary strain. At temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius, plants begin to "suffer", which is evident in slower growth. Although it is not always possible to prevent heat stress from affecting your plants, it is possible to increase the tolerance of plants to high temperatures. Read below how.
TOO MUCH HEAT STRESS IS HARMFUL
High temperatures in plants are not necessarily a bad thing, as exposure of plants to moderate stress can lead to a more beautiful colour, increase the content of vitamins and aromas of fruits and vegetables. So moderate stress can have a positive effect on plant growth, but too much stress is very damaging to plants and slows their growth. When plants are under high temperature loads, they cannot collect enough water for their needs. The edges of the leaves will start to curl and turn brown, and the plants will start to show calcium deficiencies (brown leaf tips). In order to help plants and allow them to grow as well as possible, we need to fertilize them, as it is extremely important that they have access to nutrients. It is also important to provide them with enough air so that they are not planted too often, as this allows them to cool down naturally due to the movement of air.
Plants have an extraordinary ability to produce their own means of protection against various types of stress, and sometimes they need our help. Microorganisms in the soil form compounds that improve plant tolerance to disease and other stressors. According to studies conducted by American scientists, extracts of humic acids, seaweed and I-amino acids are a real balm for plants on hot days.
Are you ready to help your plants overcome stress more easily due to high temperatures?
BENEFITS OF HUMIC ACIDS AND SEA ALGAE
The benefits of humic acids and seaweed, after a 10-year study by American scientists, have shown remarkable effects on various stressors in plants. Seaweed extracts are rich in natural plant hormones called cytokines. Seaweed thus promotes growth and provides a healthy root system, which is necessary for the introduction of water and nutrients into the plant. If we help plants develop more root mass before the plant begins to experience stress, the plants will be better prepared for efficient water consumption when high temperatures come.
Humic acids are also rich in trace elements, which is especially helpful for plants when they need iron. During times of stress, plants need iron and other trace metals to activate important enzymes. If trace elements are not available, the enzymes “turn off” and will not be able to protect the plant. However, if the enzymes are "on", one molecule can perform more than 1000 chemical reactions per second in a cell.
Amino acids are also extremely important for strengthening plants. Amino acids help plants absorb metals and greatly increase calcium intake in the plant. Calcium forms an “adhesive” that sticks to cell walls and strengthens plant tissues against temperature pressure. As temperatures begin to rise, the availability of calcium provided by amino acids will also increase.
In addition to high temperatures during the summer, hail is also increasingly present. After a hailstorm, when the plants are damaged, we need to provide them with plenty of organic food for a speedy recovery. Here again, seaweed, humic acids and amino acids come into play. They will provide the plants with all the necessary vitamins, minerals and enzymes to recover as soon as possible. When the plants are damaged, it is recommended to spray them every 5 days with the organic supplement BIG START from humic acids and seaweed, as this prevents the development of further diseases and allows them to recover as soon as possible.
Healthy plants are naturally resistant to stress and disease. Therefore, we must provide the plants with the best possible environment with appropriate fertilizers and additives. If the plant has a strong root system, thick cell walls, accessible minerals and trace elements it will be ready for high temperatures. Don’t wait for the first signs of illness, as it may be too late by then. Humic acids, seaweed and beneficial bacteria are contained in the organic supplement BIG START, which increases the resistance of plants to stress at high temperatures and other factors, and greatly increases the root system of plants. It can be used for watering or foliar spraying. Spraying is recommended in the late afternoon or early morning so that the strong sun does not destroy the effect.
